6. What do your parents/children (delete as applicable) think of your job?

They are happy that I am happy and well paid no matter what the job is.

7. What’s the worst thing about being a comedian?

Traveling and being happy when you don't feel like it.

8. I think you are very good at what you do (that’s why I’m asking these questions). What do you think of you?

I like me very much and think that I work very hard to hopefully be great in comedy soon.

9. How much do you earn and how much would you like to earn?

I currently earn a decent amount and would like to earn a ridiculous amount.

10. How important is luck in terms of career success – have you had lucky breaks?

No. Just work based opportunities.

11. Comedian Alan Davies has said that comedians fall into two categories - golfers and self-harmers. The former just get on with life, the latter are tortured artists. Which are you – or do you think you fit into a third category?

I'm just Ron Funches a chill charming gentleman who enjoys being on stage more than any other place.

12. Who is your favourite person ever and why – not including family or friends or other comedians?

Lucille Ball.

13. Do you keep your drawers tidy and if not why not?

How dare you?!

Ron Funches is at Soho Theatre until June 18. Tickets and info here.
