News: Fans Ejected From Show Due to Phone Ban

A number of fans were ejected from Kevin Hart's Birmingham show because they had their phones out.

According to this report before the Barclaycard Arena gig started on Friday night an announcement said "Everyone, please put away your mobile phones. Last night 250 people were ejected before Kevin Hart even came on stage - you have been warned," but despite this warning around 45 fans were ejected from the auditorium by security staff.

Hart is one of a number of comedians attempting to come down hard on audience members filming clips and putting them on YouTube. When Dave Chappelle appeared at the Eventim Apollo last year he also had a zero tolerance policy regarding phones,

Update 18/1 - according to Hart's support act around 50 fans were ejected before Hart had even come onstage at the 02 Arena on Sunday. The headliner was being hardline because he plans to release a live film of his show later this year.
