Voting has now opened for the annual Comedy.co.uk Awards. There is no jury, this is an entirely public online vote and there are no shortlists – you can vote for anything in each of the categories.

Every British comedy show that had at least one new episode broadcast between the  January 1 and December 31 in the year is included in the nominations list (unless it spanned the New Year period, in which case it'll only be nominated in the first of the two years)

Voting closes on January 29 and the winners will be announced on February 1. There is a chance to win BBC Store gift vouchers and also an opportunity to vote for the worst programme in each category, though being mean and vindictive is not compulsory.
