Veep, W1A and Catastrophe have been shortlisted in the Best Situation Comedy Category in the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Awards. The results will be announced on Monday 18 January 2016.

Veep Season Four is written by Armando Iannucci, Tony Roche, Simon Blackwell, Sean Gray, Ian Martin, Jesse Armstrong, William Smith and Roger Drew, Catastrophe  is written by Sharon Horgan and Rob Delaney and W1A is written by John Morton.

In the Best Radio Comedy category White Rolls The Dice (Deborah Frances) is shortlisted alongside Ed Reardon’s Week (Andrew Nickolds and Christopher Douglas) and Boswell’s Lives (Jon Canter).
