The final of the annual Funny Women Awards takes place on September 23. Previous finalists include Katherine Ryan, Sara Pascoe, Bridget Christie and Sarah Millican, so it is a pretty good litmus test of talent.

This year's final is at King's Place in London and is compered by Kerry Godliman (pictured). Ticket details here.
