The line-up has been announced for the Magners Greenwich Comedy Festival at the National Maritime Museum from September 16 - 20.

Reginald D Hunter, Adam Buxton, Rich Hall, Ed Byrne, David O’Doherty, Tim Key, Bridget Christie, Paul Foot, Henning Wehn, Richard Herring, Sara Pascoe, Nick Helm, Luisa Omielan, Jerry Sadowitz are among the names confirmed.

This year’s comedy extravaganza is the biggest yet with the Big Top and Apple Top hosting curated shows featuring comedy luminaries. This year there is also the Magners Orchard – a brand new bar and entertainment area. The cider-centric oasis in the heart of historic Royal Greenwich is totally free to enter and will present a heady mix of music, cabaret, comedy, street food and drink.

10 up and coming comedians are set to go mic to mic this year as they compete to be crowned the UK’s hottest new comedy talent. The Magners New Comedy Act 2015 will see the promising acts perform in front of a judging panel of comedy heavyweights, with the final taking place at the Magners Greenwich Comedy Festival on Sunday 20 September.

Festival Producer, Cass Briggs, is counting down to the festival: “We can’t wait to be back at the National Maritime Museum. Last year’s festival set the bar pretty high but we’ve still managed to add even more comedy this year plus the fantastic Magners Orchard so are quietly confident that this year’s edition will be even bigger and better than before.”

And Magners Brand Director, Andy Cross, couldn’t agree more: “Greenwich Comedy Festival boasts a must-see line-up of heavyweight comedians and combined with a truly spectacular setting, it really is an amazing day out. I think most people will agree that there’s nothing better than sitting back on a summer’s day with a Magners Cider and enjoying a laugh with friends and, this year, we’ve made sure even more people can get involved with the extended and free to enter Magners Orchard.”

The festival will be brimming full of bars, gourmet grub from street food vendors plus an array of delights from a pop-up restaurant giving audiences the ultimate festival dining experience.
