Comedian, performer and author Ruby Wax has unexpectedly cancelled dates on her An Evening With Ruby Wax tour. She announced the news on Instagram adding that this does not affect the Absolutely Famous tour - dates for that here. Wax posted the following:

"I’m incredibly sorry to share some difficult news. Due to circumstances outside of my control, the remaining dates of my ‘An Evening With Ruby Wax’ tour will no longer be going ahead.

This means that the upcoming shows in Sheffield, Durham, Edinburgh and Kidderminster have unfortunately been cancelled.

We’ve done everything we can behind the scenes to try and find a way forward, but sadly this is no longer possible. I know this will be hugely disappointing for those of you who have booked tickets, particularly if you’ve already made plans around the shows, and I’m truly sorry.

I had been very much looking forward to seeing you, and I’m disappointed that we won’t get to share these evenings together.

I do want to reassure you that this is only in relation to ‘An Evening With Ruby Wax’ and does not affect my ‘Absolutely Famous’ tour. Those dates, later this year and throughout 2027, are going ahead as planned, and I’m really looking forward to getting back out on the road and seeing you there.
