FINLAY CHRISTIE is set to head out on a 35-date tour of UK & Ireland from October 2026 to January 2027
‘Champagne Casanova’ follows his critically acclaimed 2024 show ‘I Deserve This’, which sold out its entire Fringe run. The show was nominated for a prestigious Malcolm Hardee Award for 'The Act That Should Make a Million Quid' and inspired two Radio 4 shows – Finlay Christie Is Younger Than You and How Not To Be Cringe with Finlay Christie and Kyrah Gray.
‘Champagne Casanova’ will premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe this year before going on tour. In the new show Finlay misguidedly believes that the women mugging him fancied him, that being a f*ckboy is cool and that Kim Jong Un would love him. Funny, self-aware and internet-brained, this is an hour about the strange myths constructed by incels, convinced the world owes them romance, to billionaires who believe they’re innovators, and everyone in between, that mean we don’t have to admit we’re ordinary, rejected or wrong. Young guys will believe almost anything if it protects their ego, and Finlay is no exception. There is also a strong section on airfryers.
Finlay has over 1 million followers across social media. At 19, Finlay became one of the youngest ever winners of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny competition. His debut show ‘OK Zoomer’ was released as a special in October 2023, has now exceeded 600K views on YouTube and was nominated for Next Up’s ‘Best Show’ award. His YouTube channel has 600K subscribers and he has produced multiple viral series including ‘If Peep Show was set in 2025’, ‘When they go to a foreign country in a Hollywood film’ and ‘Asking black and white people the same questions’ as well being a member of Channel 4’s digital channel A Comedy Thing.
TV and radio appearances include Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News For You, 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Bake Off Extra Slice, The Stand-Up Sketch Show, Comedy Central Live, One Person Found This Helpful, and The Pharmacy. He has opened for Micky Flanagan on tour and has performed at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal as well as in Paris, Amsterdam, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Prague and Stockholm for the Comedy Store. He has also appeared as an actor in The Bleak Old Shop of Stuff (BBC2) with Stephen Fry and Waybuloo (CBeebies).
Finlay loves language, studying French and Mandarin Chinese at university. He is fluent in French and performed French stand-up comedy in Lyon for 6 months.
Tickets go on sale 10am Friday 5th June 26 here.
