
The line-up has been announced for this year's WeGotTickets Musical Comedy Awards Final, which takes place on April 10th at Bloomsbury Theatre at 7.30pm. Buy tickets here.
The night will be celebration of the UK's best up and coming musical comedian.
Now in its 18th year, the MCA have helped to launch the likes of Abandoman, Rachel Parris, Adam Kay, Mae Martin, Jay Foreman and Jazz Emu. If you enjoy acts that combine comedy with music such as Bill Bailey, Tim Minchin and Flight of the Conchords, this show will hit all the right notes.

There will also be a performance from Best Newcomers, John and Christian and a headline set from the Sugarcoated Sisters (pictured), who are real-life siblings from Hertfordshire. With over 3 million online followers they are among the UK’s most-watched musical comedians, captivating fans with their unique and untamed edge. From women's health and dating to politics and UK culture, they cover it all in slick musical sketches. Chloe has bipolar type 2 and Tabby has type 1 diabetes, which often features in their material.
Their original debut show “Bittersweet” was a smash-hit at Ed Fringe and Soho Theatre and was featured on BBC Radio 4, BBC Click, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Scotland, Heart Breakfast Show and more.
Chloe and Tabby said: “Our first ever live gig as Sugarcoated Sisters was at the MCA heats in 2022. And our third ever live gig was the MCA final, where we were absolutely thrilled to win Best Newcomer! The MCA’s are where our live journey began, so we are honoured to return for this full circle moment."
