Comedian Brennan Reece is the latest guest to join the League of Improv onstage. On 26 March, Brennan will leap onto the stage of The Phoenix Arts Club to join the regular team of crackshot performers.
Over the past three years, the company has built a reputation for fast paced improvised comedy with their monthly shows that feature a different Star Guest each time. Now, to bring in the spring, Brennan is returning to be with the gang for the second time! Joining the ranks of top class acts such as Lou Sanders, Jake Lambert, Harriet Kemsley, Angelos Epithemiou (aka Dan Skinner), Reuben Kay, Shappy Khorsandi, Nabil Abdulrashid, and Morgan Rees (to name but a few).
This hilarious Northern comedian, with a densely packed arsenal of impressive one-liners and hilarious short stories, will be the latest to be welcomed to the stage by the troupe’s founder Damian Arnold and his and his quick-witted team of top comedy talent from the London and Chicago improv world.
The evening begins with a one word suggestion from the audience. This suggestion will inspire Brennan’s stand up and some playful audience interaction which will provide story and character ideas for the improvisers who will then create scenes that shall only exist on the night and never be seen again. This is a truly unique comedy experience that is heightened by team work and produces unforgettable laughs each and every show. These laughs are delivered at pace, with a 100% guarantee that no two shows will ever be the same.
Damian Arnold says: “The League of Improv are delighted to welcome back Brennan this March. Brennan was so wonderfully funny last time he did the show and we’re thrilled to have him back again - this is a real treat for us!”
Brennan Reece is a multi-award winning comedian (Edinburgh Best Newcomer Nominee and English Comedian Of The Year Winner). A stand-up, a storyteller and self-confessed mummy’s boy, his boyish cheeks recently cropped up on Survival Of The Fittest (ITV), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV) Live At The Comedy Store (Comedy Central) and he has racked up over 6 million YouTube hits for his stint on Top Gear (BBC). A true Northern voice, with family close to his heart.
