Comedy Central UK has recommissioned three hit UK originals to return later this year: Jimmy Carr’s Am I The A**hole?, produced and created by Tuesday’s Child; and Iain Stirling’s Roast the Internet and Stupid Central, presented by Babatundé Aléshé, both produced in-house by MTV Entertainment Studios.
All series are commissioned by Luke Hales, SVP Content and Brand Strategy, MTV Entertainment Studios and Iestyn Barker, VP, Original Series & Development, MTV Entertainment Studios, who says: “It’s been great to see all three of these new commissions resonating so well with Comedy Central UK viewers. Alongside Rosie Jones’ Out of Order, which aired its second series earlier this year, we are delighted to have this strong and varied slate of returning UK originals for 2026.”
Jimmy Carr’s Am I The A**hole?
Series 1 of Jimmy Carr’s Am I The A**hole? was the best performing Comedy Central UK original in over 3 years and the #1 comedy launch in Pay TV in 2025. Produced and created by Tuesday’s Child it also achieved the best social performance for a Comedy Central UK original series in more than six years, with over 100 million video views and 1 million engagements. Host Jimmy Carr will once again be joined by internet sensation GK Barry and acclaimed standup Jamali Maddix in this hilarious and unfiltered panel show. The trio will be passing even more no-holds-barred judgements on members of the public for their hilariously questionable behaviour and morally dubious actions.
Am I the A**hole? (AITA) is one of Reddit’s favourite subreddits, with 24 million people worldwide in the online community. Since 2013, r/amitheasshole has been the go-to place for people seeking judgment from strangers and asking each other to settle recent conflicts. The 8x60’ series will again be produced by Tuesday's Child with Creative Director Steph Harris serving as Executive Producer alongside Marc Beaulac, the creator of the Am I The A**hole subreddit with Mia Cross as Series Producer.
Jimmy Carr said: “We're bringing back Am I the A**hole and I'm hosting again. I guess Comedy Central figure, when it comes to a**holes, 'game recognises game'. If you've got a friend who's an a**hole, get in touch.”
Steph Harris, Creative Director, Tuesdays Child added: “Building on the success of the subreddit, we always hoped the show would resonate and turns out, people love watching Jimmy, GK and Jamali roast strangers’ questionable behaviour almost as much as the internet loves submitting it, with viewers turning judges as the conversations continued online, delivering a 360 engagement in the a**holery debate.”

Iain Stirling’s Roast The Internet
Series one of Iain Stirling’s Roast the Internet was up 179% on slot average, and up by triple digit percentages across all key target demos. It was the #1 Pay TV comedy launch for 16-34s in 2025. Iain Stirling returns at the helm of the second series, joined by three guest comics and celebrities each episode. Together, they take aim at their biggest online hate-watches in a show packed with jaw-dropping and hilarious clips, exclusive stand up performances from comedy’s biggest names and exciting up-and-comers, as well as cameos from iconic internet personalities. The 8x60’ series is an MTV Entertainment Studios production. The executive producers are Luke Shiach and Iestyn Barker.
Iain Stirling said: “I’m absolutely buzzing to bring Roast the Internet back for a second series on Comedy Central UK. The internet is really becoming a thing these days, I think everyone will be using it soon! Which means there’s lots of chaos to dive into and absolutely no shortage of nonsense to tear apart.”
Stupid Central
Stupid Central, hosted by Babatundé Aléshé, will also return for a second series. The comedy clip show will deliver a fresh batch of the funniest, craziest and hopelessly foolish clips from all over the world. The series is an MTV Entertainment Studios production. The executive producer is Adam Copeland.
Babatundé Aléshé said: "I’m so unbelievably proud to be returning to Stupid Central for Comedy Central UK. I love this show and the whole team work incredibly hard to create a really funny format that gives audiences a bit of joy. I can’t wait to get started again.”
All three series will air on Comedy Central UK later this year.
