Nabil Abdulrashid is the latest guest to join the regular team of crackshot performers that make up League of Improv, for a show packed with laughs and surprises. The show will take place on 26 February at The Phoenix Arts Club in London.
Over the past four years, the company has built a reputation for fast-paced improvised comedy with their monthly shows that feature a different guest each time. Nabil will be following in the foosteps of acts such as Morgan Rees, Lou Sanders, Jake Lambert, Harriet Kemsley, Angelos Epithemiou (aka Dan Skinner), Reuben Kay, Shappi Khorsandi and Sophie Duker among others.
Britain’s Got Talent finalist Nabil will be welcomed to the stage by the troupe’s founder Damian Arnold and his fast-witted team of top talent from the London and Chicago improv world.
The evening begins with a one word suggestion from the audience. This suggestion will inspire Nabil’s stand up and some playful audience interaction which will provide story and character ideas for the improvisers who will then create scenes that will only exist on the night and never be seen again. This is a unique comedy experience heightened by skilful team work. No two shows will ever be the same.
Damian Arnold says: “The League of Improv are delighted to welcome Nabil to The League of Improv at The Phoenix Arts Club. Expect the unexpected and prepare for sore ribs for this latest instalment of in our monthly residency there.”
Nabil Abdulrashid is an award-winning stand-up comedian, writer, presenter and actor. A finalist in ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent series, as seen three times on Live At The Apollo as well as Would I Lie To You?, QI, Have I Got News For You, The Last Leg, Bridge of Lies amongst many others.
