Michael McIntyre's The Wheel With Alex Horne And Sophie Willan

the wheel

I presume tonight's episode of Michael McIntyre's the wheel was recorded a while ago as two of the guests, Alex Horne and Sophie Willan might have other things on their mind this evening.

Star of Alma's Not Normal Sophie Willan has just become a new mum. The 38-year-old posted the news on her Instagram Stories on Sunday (November 30). she has named her baby Elijah. Her partner is chef Carniel Francis Levy,.

Taskmaster creator Alex Horne, meanwhile, will probably be having a long rest with his feet up this evening. He has just completed a marathon - not a running one but a singing one. Horne and his band The Horne Section have been performing a single song non-stop in aid on channel 4's Stand-Up to Cancer. The song they chose was the Ace classic How Long? and in answer to the question how long has this been going on? The answer is 24 exhausting but fun hours.

Horne is one of the nicest men in comedy and has seen Taskmaster go from strength to strength in recent years. The show also seems to be building up a following in America. Horne and Greg Davies will be heading over there in 2026 to perform a live version of the show on the east coast. I'm sure a UK tour would also be an instant sell-out - it can surely only be a matter of time before they announce UK dates.

And, of course, there is a Champion of Champions show and a New Year Treat featuring non-comedians coming up soon. More details of that here.

The other elebrity experts in this episode of The Wheel are Tony Blackburn, Richie Anderson, Anton Du Beke, Gabby Logan and Chris Eubank.
