Jill Scott and Maisie Adam to Front Adobe Women’s FA Cup Coverage on C4

Three-time FA Cup winner Jill Scott MBE is teaming up with comedian and football fanatic Maisie Adam to present Channel 4’s coverage of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup.

Coverage begins with the Third Round Proper this weekend on Saturday 13th December, when Channel 4 brings viewers Wolverhampton Wanderers v Nottingham Forest live from Hednesford Town.

Channel 4 has terrestrial rights to the Adobe Women’s FA Cup for the next three seasons and will broadcast one game per round from the third round onwards, all co-exclusive with TNT Sports. Coverage will be produced by FilmNova.

Fronted by the dynamic duo of Jill and Maisie, Channel 4’s coverage of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup is set to bring energy and authenticity to the tournament, celebrating the magic of the FA Cup and putting fans and local communities at its heart. 

Coverage of each round will open with Jill and Maisie’s Road to Wembley, filmed in the host town or city the day before each match. The pair will meet supporters, club characters and local personalities, exploring the stories, pride and culture that surround each team. Then, live at the match, Jill and Maisie will take viewers behind the scenes with players, coaches and pundits, offering a fresh perspective on the matchday experience. 

Saturday’s build-up to Wolverhampton Wanderers v Nottingham Forest begins at 11.45am on Channel 4, with kick-off at 12.15pm. Maisie Adam said: “I am buzzing to be teaming up with a legend of the women’s game to present this season’s Adobe Women’s FA Cup. We’re going to have such a brilliant time and I can’t wait to get started on Saturday with Wolves v Forest.”
