After selling out his run at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe and being one of the Best Reviewed Edinburgh Shows at the Festival according to the British Comedy Guide's survey, Christopher Macarthur Boyd will take his acclaimed Howling At The Moon show on a UK tour in 2026.
He’ll be bringing along his ‘belly-achingly funny’ (Herald) stand-up about grappling with being mental, his sexuality and general lunacy.
It’s been a busy year or so for Christopher - breaking up with his long-term girlfriend and moving back in with his parents in the east end of Glasgow. This show is an hilarious look at his love life, grief and nostalgia.
He sold out his debut tour last year and became a co-host on the smash-hit podcast Here Comes The Guillotine (with Frankie Boyle and Susie McCabe)
Christopher is making big waves on the comedy scene right now. He’s a ‘compelling’ (Times) observational stand-up who is happy to deliver the latest headlines of his life, with his distinctive style of personal comedy.
Christopher has released his comedy special Oh No on 800 Pound Gorilla Media and he recorded his last show Scary Times at the 1400 seat Pavilion Theatre in Glasgow, which is now available to view on the Some Laughs Youtube channel. He recently hosted the BBC New Comedy Awards and Scotland Stands Up. As well as his own tour, he has supported: Frankie Boyle, Susie McCabe, Kevin Bridges, Shane Gillis and David Cross.
