Winners Of the I Talk Telly Awards Announced

After 200,000 public votes were registered in the awards’ tenth anniversary year, it’s time to reveal the winners of the I Talk Telly Awards 2024.

Since launching in 2015, the I Talk Telly Awards, created by founder Elliot Gonzalez, have now seen almost 2.5 million votes registered, celebrating programmes and talent across Comedy, Drama, Entertainment, Lifestyle and Factual and Soaps.

EastEnders took home two awards including Best Soap and Best Soap Partnership for Balvinder Sopal and Heather Peace.

Elsewhere, Ant & Dec also took home two awards. Best Entertainment Show for the final series of Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway as well as Best TV Presenting Partnership. And Waterloo Road also secured a double win for Best Returning Drama and Best Breakthrough for Tillie Amartey.

After missing out on the award last year, Strictly Come Dancing proved popular in its 20th anniversary year to be voted Best Talent Show and speaking of Strictly, Amy Dowden won Best Single Documentary for her moving documentary Strictly Amy: Cancer and Me.

Other winners included Abbott Elementary, Agatha All Along, Baby Reindeer, Brassic, Gogglebox, Ludwig and The Traitors as well as Danny Dyer & Ryan Sampson for Mr Bigstuff, Graham Norton for The Graham Norton Show, Siobhan Finneran for Alma’s Not Normal and Vicky McClure for Trigger Point.

Eligible programmes for the 2024 awards must have aired between 1st November 2023 and 31st October 2024. With an exception for Breakthrough and Soap Newcomer, which recognises individuals who have made a significant impact in the last 18 months, between 1st May 2023 and 31st October 2024.
