New Podcast From Chantal nAsh Explores What Makes Friendships Work

Making Friends With Chantel Nash is a brand new podcast, starting Wednesday 22 May and dropping every Wednesday. It is a Keep It Light Media production.

Chantel Nash is looking for friends, specifically, the female variety. As an adult, making new friends is HARD and the pressures of everyday life makes keeping up with the few friends you DO have, near impossible! One day you look around and think.. do I even have friends anymore? So, Chantel is on the hunt for the creme de la creme of friends.  She's thinking big, she's thinking aspirational, she's mostly thinking Michelle Obama but she'll take every amazing woman she can get.

This new podcast sees comedian, mum, partner, daughter and Croc-lover Chantel Nash speed-date various women that she would love to be friends with from the worlds of entertainment, science, music, art and beyond to find out what makes their friendships tick and hopefully form the perfect girl crew.

Chantel’s amazing guests include: Carla Monroe, Leah Davis, Samira Banks, Kyrah Gray, Suzi Ruffell, Susie McCabe, Thanyia Moore, Kemah Bob, Sonia Benito, Charlene White, Laura Smyth and Esther Manito.

Chantel started performing stand-up comedy in 2022 and has already shared the stage with her comedy heroes: Kerry Godliman, Slim and Laura Smyth. This year she has won regional heats and reached the finals of BBC New Act and So You Think You’re Funny comedy competitions.  She will be appearing on Comedy Central Live this series and she made her audio debut on Mo Gilligan’s Spotlight on Audible.  Last Autumn she joined the tour of Mo Gilligan and Friends - the Black British Take Over at the Event Apollo in London.

Keep it Light Media is the UK’s largest independent podcast production company.  Since forming in 2019 they’ve gone from success to success with dozens of chart-topping hit shows including: Parenting Hell with Rob Beckett & Josh Widdicombe, Wolf and Owl with Romesh Ranganathan & Tom Davis, Chatabix with Joe Wilkinson and David Earl, Like Minded Friends with Tom Allen & Suzi Ruffell and Alan Carr’s Life’s A Beach.
