Daniel Foxx Extends Villain Tour

Daniel Foxx Extends Villain Tour

Fresh from a sell-out extended run at the Edinburgh Fringe and selling out his entire tour award-winning gossip and TikTok starlet Daniel Foxx has added more dates for his show Villain. This is a show about childhood, Tilda Swinton and bullying (but in a chic way). With his trademark wit and grandmother's pearls, Daniel takes us back to the 2000s, when the Special K diet was all the rage.

Foxx is an award-winning comedian and writer. Named utterly hilarious and effortlessly charismaticby Rolling Stone Magazine, Edinburgh Fringe 2023 saw him nominated for the NextUp Biggest Award in Comedy

In September, Daniel’s book Bedtime Stories for Privileged Children will be published by Monoray, it is a collection of stories especially for the little darlings of the fabulously wealthy - that can also be enjoyed by YOU, the downtrodden, pitiful, ordinary adult! Read about the everyday adventures of Rupert, Shallotte and Genevievette as they ski, holiday, and drift around Selfridges - whilst always keeping a healthy distance from the dreaded hoi polloi!

On social media, Daniels comedy sketch videos have earned him a huge online following and millions of views, whilst on screen he has performed on BBC One, BBC Three, ITV and Comedy Central. Daniel has provided tour support for Josh Widdicombe, Rosie Jones, Judi Love and Sofie Hagen, and garnered a host of accolades including a WritersGuild Award nomination, Daves Top 10 Jokes of the Fringe, and the Brighton Fringe Award for Excellence.

Daniel has just launched a brand new podcast Welcome To Hell with fellow comedian, Dane Buckley. Join them as they judge outrageous confessions from you, Hells newest arrival. Welcome to Hell is the podcast that celebrates the salacious, basks in the bitchy, and revels in a good old fashioned gossip. Because down here the tea is hot, and the conversation is even hotter.

As a writer, Daniel creates plays, screenplays, and musical theatre. His most recent project, Unfortunate: The Untold Story of Ursula the Sea Witch (written with frequent collaborators Robyn Grant and Tim Gilvin) was a sell-out hit at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in both 2019 & 2022 and named Theatre Weeklys Best Musical of the Fringe. Unfortunate earned Foxx and Grant a Writers Guild Award nomination for Best Musical Theatre Book Writing 2020. With an original hot pop soundtrack and trademark filthy humour, Unfortunate: The Untold Story of Ursula the Sea Witch will kick off at Southwark Playhouse Elephant for 10 weeks this winter before touring across the UK through to summer 2024. Shawna Hamic (Orange is the New Black, 1776 on Broadway) will lead the cast, opposite Ru Pauls Drag Race UK star River Medway as Ariel.

Daniel is currently working with a production company on a series based on one of his popular characters.
