Romesh Ranganathan, Ivo Graham, Rosie Jones and Joel Dommett To Take Part In London Marathon

A number of comedians will be running in this year’s London marathon on Sunday 21st April.

In a joint effort, Ivo Graham will be running while pushing Rosie Jones in a buggy, raising funds for two charities, UP: The Adult Cerebral Palsy Movement, and Multiple Sclerosis Society.

The pair stated: ‘Ivo is going to run pushing a chair, and Rosie is going to sit in that chair and shout at Ivo with a megaphone if he slows down too much. They are going to do this for 26.2 miles and they are going to have the time of their lives, and they are going to raise as much money as they can for two charities which are very important to them. Please donate what you can!’

The Masked Singer host Joel Dommett is also running this year’s race, saying: ‘I’m running 26.2 miles in the Masked Singer winning costume – PIRANHA! I am running to raise awareness and money for an incredible charity that I am proudly a patron of – Shooting Star Children’s Hospice. Please give what you can – and if you can’t give anything, then come down, see the costume with a sweaty hidden man inside and cheer me on!’

Finally, CALM Ambassador Romesh Ranganathan will be putting in the miles in order to raise funds for CALM, Campaign Against Living Miserably. Romesh stated: ‘If you told me a couple years ago that I’d be running a marathon, I’d have told you to f*ck right off – but CALM’s work is so important that I’m going to break a lifelong promise to myself’.
