Big Tour For Eshaan Akbar

Comedian Eshaan Akbar will be heading off on his biggest tour to date with a brand new show for 2025. Tickets are one sale from Friday 1st March from www.eshaanakbar.com.

Kicking off in Milton Keynes on 6th February 2025, Eshaan will then take in a further 37 dates across the UK before closing in London at the iconic Hackney Empire on 12th April 2025.

Following on from his acclaimed debut tour of The Pretender, Eshaan is getting ready to once again bring his unique and insightful comedy to audiences across the UK. Last year he posed the notion that everyone pretends to know what they’re doing when they don’t, it’s clear that Eshaan knows exactly what he’s doing with his comedy. With this hour set to be his most impressive to date!

Having previously worked as a banker, a policy adviser, a speechwriter and a journalist, Eshaan has blown audiences away with his ability to navigate the choppy waters of the UK racial politics within his shows, making him a breakthrough act who has conquered some of the biggest stages including The O2.

Having performed three sell out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as well as sell out London transfers at London’s prestigious Soho Theatre. He  has opened for Micky Flanagan, and has supported the likes of Jason Manford, Sindhu Vee, Adam Rowe, Dan Nightingale, Kae Kurd, Tez Ilyas, Dane Baptiste, Hal Cruttenden, Jan Ravens and Rory Bremner on tour.

Eshaan Akbar said: “I’m doing another tour because it’s one way of creating more work for myself and to give you all something to do. Last tour, I played to tens and tens of you, can’t wait for it be twenties and twenties of you this time round. I can promise you, my show will be better than doing nothing - that’s a minimum guarantee. I’ve appeared in Animals Do The Funniest Things you know.”

This Friday Eshaan will appear on an episode of The Last Leg for Channel 4 as well as previously being the first person of Bangladeshi heritage to appear on Mock the Week (BBC Two), QI ( BBC) as well as starring in the latest series of Sex Education (Netflix)Further credits include Frankie Boyle’s New World Order (BBC Two), The Big Asian Stand Up Night (BBC Two), Sunday Morning Live (BBC One), Good Morning Britain (ITV), plus many more.
