Mo Gilligan’s debut film lead is making its US premiere at the internationally renowned Sundance Film Festival. The prestigious cinema event returns to Utah from January 18th-28th.

In the animated feature film, Mo plays Beckett, a pampered cat who takes for granted the lucky hand he has been dealt; rescued & loved by Rose, a kind-hearted and passionate student focused on saving the world’s bee population. But all that is about to change, when he carelessly loses his ninth life. It is a journey that sees Beckett turn from gloriously self-absorbed pet, to a self-sacrificing hero. Because sometimes you must travel many different roads to find the very best version of yourself.

Directed by Christopher Jenkins the cast also features Bill Nighy, Simone Ashley, Zayn Malik, Sophie Okonedo, Dylan Lllewellyn and Jeremy Swift.

The news comes fresh from Mo’s World Tour announcement with extra dates already added across the USA. His new In The Moment show is also heading to Canada, Dubai, Australia, New Zealand, throughout Europe & the UK.
