TV Review: Harry Hill's Stars In Their Eyes, ITV1, Episode 3

Harry hill

This has had, shall we say, mixed reviews so far, so let's see how episode three goes...

It's Tom Jones and his mobile buttocks. Very Vic & Bob...

Harry does seem to have worked out whether he is interviewing the contestants or doing his bit to the viewers.

Nathan from Oldham – barman, student and the world's worst Michael Buble impression? Actually he looks like him already. Oh, he hasn't really changed except put a suit on.

Back to your bunk bed!

Was it Boy George going through the doors in 1993? Marc Almond? Still looks more like Boy George.

Lot of Harry Hill haters on Twitter. Why are they still watching?

Copper Samantha from Birmingham showing off her Monster Munch collection. She did say "Cop Idol" didn't she? It sounded ruder.

Good to see Stouffer back. Might as well go the whole hog and have a badger parade.

Aretha Franklin doing Respect - surefire primetime crowdpleaser but it's not really an impersonation is it. She just singing the song. Not exactly arresting.

Emma from Blackpool – cabaret singer. Do the rules allow that? Are there any rules?

Is Harry Hill doing bad dolphin jokes on porpoise?

This Lady Gaga is almost good enough to be on The Voice, but only just. Would have been better if she'd performed in the meat dress.

That Katy Perry gag didn't really work but it was good to see them throw knives at Nathan/Michael Buble.

Dinosaur onesie alert. He's gonna be Boy George surely.

I've never seen a top like Roger's brown one in my life.

The most over-emotional Meat Loaf ever. This man could explode.

Hang on, this is the third contestant tonight who works in a bar.

Cucumber joke alert. Bit of a Rod Hull influence I think.

Sammy as Adele sounds good and looks good from a distance but the closer you get less she resembles her. Harry's Adele lookalike with baby was better.

But more importantly, where is John Kearns this week?

Can we vote for Tom Jones? Or the Adele and baby lookalike? Please?

Results verified by "team of government scientists".

Lady Gaga wins. Meat Loaf was robbed.

Snap verdict. Better than first episode, not as good as second. Lucky that Harry Hill is a doctor, this series still needs a little bit of medical attention. But not in the "Do not resuscitate" situation the haters suggest.
