Scrap The Monarchy Song Aims For The Charts

Scrap The Monarchy Song Aims For The Charts
Thanks to a grass roots campaign, Scrap The Monarchy by The Krown Jewelz is selling faster now than at the start of the week. It could make the top 10 hit this Friday.

For Scrap the Monarchy, the controversial band purposefully removed any swear words in the hope of getting it played on the BBC. However, they were left humiliated when hosts Vick and Katie glossed over the new entry, refusing to even mention the name of the song. Instead, they said simply: "At number 17 we've got a new entry, Krown Jewelz," before moving on with the rest of the chart.

Krown Jewelz frontman K-Royale took to Twitter to criticise the decision. He said: "This right here is the reason we released Scrap The Monarchy as a song with no expletives. Proof that nearly 50 years after the Sex Pistols, the Nanny State mouthpiece @BBC still don’t trust you to make your own mind up about dissenting voices. Sad state of affairs. @BBCR1".

K-Royale is now hoping for more luck with his anti-monarchy artwork 'Waste of Money' which comprises of a hundred replica ten pound notes featuring King Charles that the singer has wiped his bottom on. It will be debuted at a gig in London on Thursday. The BBC has been contacted for comment.

100 of these excrement-smeared notes will be exhibited together this Thurday at New Cross Inn, London to form the artwork 'A Waste of Money'.
