Comedians Announce Two Big Benefits for Pakistan

Two major fundraisers have been announced to raise money following the recent devastating floods in Pakistan. Both events take place on Wednesday, September 21.

Asim Chaudhry (People Just Do Nothing), Kae Kurd (Live At The Apollo), Milton Jones (Mock The Week),Nabil Abdulrashid (Britain’s Got Talent), Noreen Khan (Radio and TV Presenter), Shazia Mirza (Travel Man and The Jonathan Ross Show) and surprise guests will be appearing at the Hackney Empire. All proceeds will go to the Disaster Emergency Committee who are supporting relief efforts in Pakistan. And the first night of Guz Khan's three-night run at the Pinter Theatre, also Wednesday, September 21, is now also a benefit gig and will feature special guests. Joining Guz Khan (pictured) will be Riz Ahmed, Sukh Ojla, Romesh Ranganathan, Asim Chaudhry and Kane Brown. All proceeds from ticket sales plus on-the-night bucket collections will be donated to the Disaster Emergency Committee’s Pakistan Flood Relief Appeal (https://www.dec.org.uk/appeal/pakistan-floods-appeal).
