Return Of Fantasy Football League Confirmed

It has been confirmed that cult sports/chat programme Fantasy Football League is set to return with new hosts.

Elis James (Swansea supporter) and Matt Lucas (Arsenal) will be the new presenters when a pilot is shot in London later this week.

After reports appeared in the press James confirmed the story on Twitter: "We’re recording this next week, it’s a dream come true. The dream of course being to load it with so many references to Swansea City and Wales that it borders on (without becoming) unwatchable."

The original hosts were David Baddiel and Frank Skinner. The late night show ran from 1994 to 2004 for 82 episodes with celebrity guests competing against each other as managers in a ‘fantasy league’ as well as chatting all things football.

David Baddiel also confimed the new show was going ahead, tweeting: "They are. With mine and Frank’s blessing" after the British Comedy Guide wrote that the revival was reportedly happening.
