New Radio Show For Quiz Champion Paul Sinha

The Stand Announces Final Batch Of Edinburgh Fringe Shows

Comedian and quiz champion Paul Sinha is to present a quiz show, or, rather, a show about quiz trivia, on BBC Radio 4. Free tickets are available at the link below.

The problem with quizzes is that the same questions keep coming up, like “What’s the name of the only member of ZZ Top without a beard?”*. So the more quizzes you do the more predictable they get.

In each episode of  Paul Sinha’s Perfect Pub Quiz he will invite the audience to tell him their favourite quiz questions, and then kindly explain why they’re a bit rubbish, before offering up not only a better question, but also the fascinating stories behind the answer. It’s facts, jokes, stories and puns – just the way you like them.

Please come to recordings with questions or this format really won’t work at all.

*Frank Beard, as you well know.

Sinha was crowned British Quizzing Champion in 2019.

The stand-up comic is a regular quizzer, taking part in tournaments as a team member and also as a solo competitor. He is also know to fans of ITV general knowledge quiz The Chase at the white-suited Sinnerman.
