Nick Helm Stinks

Nick Helm Stinks

Following a run at the Edinburgh Festival, multi-award-winning comedian, actor, musician and writer Nick Helm resurrects his musical B-movie, drive-in horror anthology tribute I THINK, YOU STINK! at the Soho Theatre.

Devised and created by Nick (with lyrics by Helm and music by Helm and school friend George Mitton), I Think, You Stink! has boasted several notable cast members over the years since its first incarnation – including Gemma Whelan (Game of Thrones), Bronté Barbé (Beautiful – The Carole King Musical), actress, singer and comedian Sooz Kempner, and musician and actor Joe DaCosta (Uncle, Cuckoo).

Join the Master of Mayhem as he drags you kicking and screaming to the very depths of Hell and back on this macabre journey, where along the way you will bear witness to the horrifying tale of ‘Two Little Girls’, meet ‘The Tesco Chain Store Manager’, and cower at the feet of Satan himself in the ultimate 15-minute rock opera ‘Boyfriend From Hell’.

Dare you enter the HYPNOZONE? Can you survive the BEAST BOY? What will be left of THE MOST POPULAR GHOUL IN SCHOOL?

The album soundtrack release of I Think, You Stink! coincides with these performances.  Nick is also working on his third and fourth studio albums, which follow Hot ‘n’ Heavy, Nick Helm is F*cking Amazing and Songs from Uncle.

Nick has been delighting his audiences, as a stand-up comedian, since 2007. Blending jokes, stories, poems and songs, he has earned an impressive list of awards and accolades including a BAFTA nomination, British Comedy Awards Best Breakthrough Artist, Times Breakthrough Award at the South Bank Sky Arts Awards, and many more.

Nick’s talents go beyond stand-up, however, and he is a familiar face on countless TV shows, including 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Live at The Apollo, Stand Up and Deliver for SU2C, The Crystal Maze, Celebrity Mastermind, The Complaints Department, Guessable, and House Of Games.
