Brian And Roger Podcast Becomes Stage Show

Brian And Roger Podcast Becomes Stage Show

Meet Brian and Roger, the hapless duo at the heart of the podcast, Brian & Roger. Praised by the Daily Telegraph and commended at the 2020 British Podcast Awards, four seasons of the podcast are available on all podcast platforms here, with a fifth season just announced and premiering on 29th September.

Brian and Roger’s toxic relationship first blossomed at a support group for recently divorced men which Roger, genuinely grieving the loss of his marriage, attended in good faith; Brian did so to avoid paying alimony. Rooted in friendship and loyalty (or at least Roger’s unfailing loyalty to Brian), in each episode listeners are immersed in a new tale, where largely improvised storylines play out entirely over voicemails. To Brian and Roger, nothing is off limits; whether it’s Brian supporting Roger in his desire to become a mime, or Roger’s participation in another of Brian’s outlandish get rich quick schemes, each episode often results in hilariously tragic consequences...for Roger.

Written and performed by Harry Peacock (Toast of London) and Dan Skinner (Angelos Epithemiou), Brian & Roger is a hit with listeners, who have cackled and cringed at what Brian has put Roger through, delighting in the escapades of these tragic, middle-aged divorcees.

Four seasons of Brian & Roger are available to listen to now here, with the brand new fifth season launching on 29th September.

Also on the horizon for Brian & Roger is a two month stint at London’s Menier Chocolate Factory theatre. Opening in the brand new, customised smaller studio space, The Mixing Room, is the world première of Brian & Roger – A Highly Offensive Play inspired by the hit podcast, written and performed by Harry Peacock and Dan Skinner. Artistic Director of the Menier David Babani directs the production which runs from 22 October – 18 December. Tickets are available from www.menierchocolatefactory.com

Brian & Rogernow a member of the Auddy family of podcasts, is produced by Marc Haynes and Joel Morris for Great Big Owl. Listen to seasons one through four here; season five launches on 29th September.
