"Banned" Andrew Lawrence Returns To Social Media

Contentious comedian Andrew Lawrence has reappeared on Twitter.

The outspoken stand-up's account disappeared in July after he made controversial remarks about players in the English football team missing penalties in the Euros final.

Various posts that Lawrence made after the defeat to Italy on penalties are still on his account.

It is not clear whether Lawrence temporarily took down his account or whether Twitter removed it.

Lawrence is uasing his Twitter account to ask people to sign up to his Patreon account to see exclusive clips of him. He had been doing this already but now says he is doing it because he cannot gig. Dates on his latest tour were pulled after his tweets and the subsequent storm.

He says that he is currently "banned from live gigs" and is also asking for contributions via Paypal.

He tweeted: "If you've enjoyed this video, and you'd like to support my comedy while I'm banned from live gigs, you can do so here: https://patreon.com/AndrewLawrenceComedy?fan_landing=true… or here: http://paypal.me/AndrewLawrenceComedy…"

Since the Euros posts Lawrence is no longer represented by management company Richard Bucknall Management.
