News: Who Is On Sunday Brunch Today? Alex Horne, That's Who

Today's show features ingenious comedian Alex Horne who will, no doubt, be talking about the new series of Taskmaster, which starts on C4 at 9pm on Thursday, March 18.

Taskmaster Series 11 will see actor Charlotte Ritchie (Ghosts, BBC One), acclaimed stand-up Jamali Maddix (Hate Thy Neighbour, Vice), BAFTA-winning comic Lee Mack (Not Going Out, BBC One), actor, writer, and comedian Mike Wozniak (Man Down, Channel 4), and BAFTA-nominated actor and comedian Sarah Kendall (Frayed, Sky One) battle it out in a series of stupefying tasks testing their ingenuity, and weeding out their stupidity.

Also appearing on Sunday Brunch is Roman Kemp, who will be talking about his forthcoming BBC documentary, entitled Our Silent Emergency.

Kemp's documentary is a deeply personal and candid film following Roman as he explores the mental health and suicide crisis affecting young men in the UK. In August 2020, Roman's life changed dramatically with the sudden and unexpected death of his best friend, radio producer Joe Lyons.

This timely documentary, to be broadcast at 9pm on BBC One on March 16, sees Roman taking a closer look at the urgent issue of young men’s mental health, exploring why increasing numbers are taking their own lives and the reasons why so many of them never ask for help.

Plus reggae/punky legend Don Letts, who has an autobiography out now, There and Black Again: The Autobiography of Don Letts, published by Omnibus Press. Letts recently told Metro: "The whole punk DIY ethos opened a door for me. I spent eight years in Big Audio Dynamite with Mick Jones, made hundreds of music videos and music documentaries and so on. I got an honorary doctorate the year before last for my contribution to culture in the UK."

Also appearing are presenter Adam Henson, Louise Redknapp and Jonathan Davies OBE.

Louise Redknapp will be discussing her new book, You’ve Got This: And Other Things I Wish I Had Known.

Plus food and drink tips from CJ Jackson and Mark Dredge and music from Tom Gennan.

Oh, and presenters Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer.

Sunday Brunch (with guests including Alex Horne), Sunday, C4, 9.30am.
