Comedian/presenter Matt Richardson has been voted off ITV1 reality show Dancing On Ice after just one appearance.

Richardson had been a stand-in and joined the show with his professional partner Vicky Ogden when Rufus Hound left after contracting Covid-19 and being unable to return.

Richardson was up against Colin Jackson in the skate-off and was voted out by the judges. 

Following his elimination he said: "I am quite relieved. This is the most horrifying and terrifying and fear-inducing thing I have ever done. The whole experience has been amazing. Training to skate, being a stand-in was amazing because everyone was doing the TV bit, I didn’t have to do any of that. I was very happy. But it has been great. Vicky has been phenomenal. I have loved skating with her.”

Dancing On Ice, Sundays, 6pm, ITV1.
