News: New Comedy Platform Comedy Sauce Launches First Bespoke Content

Comedy Sauce, a new platform supporting new and emerging comedians, has announced its first bespoke content for the channel. The platform, which is due to launch officially this Spring, has joined forces with comedian and impressionist Josh Berry for a new weekly slot at 7pm each Sunday where he will, as Rafe Hubris, host The Alternative Government Press Conference.

Hubris (BA, OXON) has been called up to lead the new Sunday Press Conferences. The briefing will see Rafe deliver a roundup of the presumably horrific week prior, analyse any data and graphs, before taking live questions from journalists and the British public.

Josh Berry has featured on Radio 4 Extra’s ‘Newsjack’, Radio 4’s ‘Dead Ringers’, and has appeared on BBC1’s ‘The Tracey Ullman Show’ and ‘Michael McIntyre’s Show’.  He has also worked with ‘Union Jack Radio’, writing and performing in his satirical impressions sketch series ‘Josh Berry’s Fake News’.  He has amassed a large internet following of over 150,000 users. Fan favourites include his parody of a Bristol raver, ‘people who receive the Oxford vaccine’, as well as his impressions of Andy Murray, Louis Theroux and James Acaster, among others.
