The rumours are true. It has been confirmed that Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are to reunite for another excellent adventure as Bill & Ted. 

A third project has been announced at the Cannes Film Festival. 

The original writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon are on board and Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest, Fun with Dick and Jane) is confirmed to direct. 

Alex Winter responded to the new with a tweet: "We’re tuning the air guitars. #BT3"

Reports suggest that the latest instalment will find the duo in middle age but given the chance to save the world if only they can write the greatest song ever. Time travel and maximum hilarity will hopefully esnue.
