Comedian Daliso Chaponda has made it through to the Britain's Got Talent 2017 final.

He bagged the second place in his semi-final thanks to the public vote.

Musical impressionist Jess Robinson failed to make it into the final despite a lot of support. On making it through Chaponda declared: "I'm so happy".

Before this year's competition started it was said that it would be nice if a comedian won Britain's Got Talent. The winner will appear in the Royal Variety Performance and win £250,000.

The live final is on ITV1 on Saturday, June 3 at 7.30pm.
