Guilt Trip, the Radio 4 comedy starring Felicity Montagu and her real-life daughter Olivia Nixon, co-written by Katherine Jakeways and produced by Jane Berthoud, is one of the finalists for a BBC Audio Drama Award in the scripted comedy category. Also in the final are Secret Kebabs by Christine Entwisle, producer Kirsty Williams and The Strange Vanishing of Julian Quark by Tom Wainwright, producer Sasha Yevtushenko.
The three finalists in the Best Comedy with a Live Audience category are Mae Martin’s Guide to 21st Century Sexuality by Mae Martin, producer Alex Smith, Mark Steel’s in Town: Stockport by Mark Steel, producer Carl Cooper and Robert Newman’s Entirely Accurate Encyclopaedia of Evolution by Rob Newman, producer Jonathan Harvey.
The winners will be announced in a ceremony at the BBC Radio Theatre on 29 January 2017, hosted by Sir Lenny Henry.
