Irish-Iranian comedian Patrick Monahan brings his most personal show to date, I’m Not A Terrorist, I’m Freddie Mercury, to venues across the UK from February to May 2027.
Since coming to England from Iran in 1980, Patrick Monahan has been called a terrorist more times than he can count, enough, he jokes, that if he had a pound for every one, he'd have the funding to start his own terrorist organisation.
The truth is, he's got a lot more in common with Freddie Mercury than Hezbollah. He's had visas turned down, faced extra checks and restricted access, simply for being who he is. Now he’s got the evening to set the record straight, and prove, once and for all, that he's not a terrorist.
Patrick Monahan said:“Every year I love touring and meeting new and old audience goers. This year's stand up show is my most personal show to date & I’m looking forward to chatting to people aboutit after the show!”
