Simon Amstell Tour Dates And Edinburgh Shows

Simon Amstell Tour Dates And Edinburgh Shows

Following a sell-out five-week London residency earlier this year, acclaimed comedian and filmmaker Simon Amstell has announced a UK tour of his critically acclaimed latest stand-up show ‘I Love It Here’.

The run of shows in major UK cities will see Amstell visit Bristol, Edinburgh, Cambridge, London, Nottingham, Brighton and Salford, for ten performances between Friday 24th July – Sunday 25th October 2026.

The tour is to include two special shows at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe, at Underbelly’s McEwan Hall (7pm, 8th & 9th August), and a return to London with a big Hackney Empire show (9th October).

With dates yet to be announced, Amstell is then set to travel Stateside with ‘I Love It Here’, climaxing with runs in New York and Los Angeles.

Full venue & listings info for the UK tour are in the below grid. Tickets are on general sale now at iloveithereshow.com and simonamstell.com. Tickets for Edinburgh Fringe shows will go on sale on 6th May.

Funnier, truer and more healing than anything ever before or after, this transcendent stand-up experience from ‘the undisputed king of the stand-up confessional’ (Evening Standard) launched earlier this year, with over 4000 tickets sold for a sold-out exclusive five-week residency, at Arches London Bridge. The run was met with widespread acclaim from the critics, with the show being dubbed ‘a scintillating confessional’ (The Times) and ‘the best show of his career’ (British Comedy Guide).

At a friend’s beach house just outside Los Angeles, Simon finally finds peace: he is in love, released from the need to perform. But when an invitation arrives from the man who first ignited his teenage desire, that fragile calm is thrown into chaos.

What follows is a desperate, hilarious attempt at surrender, during a night of overwhelming stimulation – the raw material for this extraordinary new show.

The launch of ‘I Love It Here’ saw Amstell unveil an accompanying series of captivating, playfully provocative poster designs, created in collaboration with celebrated film poster designer and artist Sam Ashby.

Ashby’s striking designs see Amstell as never before, free and joyful, soaking up his idyllic, countryside surrounds.

Ashby’s previous work includes film poster design for ‘All Of Us Strangers’, ‘Frances Ha’, ‘Control’ and ‘The Outrun’.
