Greg Davies and his loyal assistant Little Alex Horne have announced that they will bring a never-before-seen live version of Taskmaster to theatres...across the east coast of America.
Taskmaster Live On Stage will visit Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and New York.
Tickets will go sale on Tuesday 9th December with an exclusive pre-sale for mailing list members on Monday 8th December. You can sign up to the mailing list here.
The live re-imagining of the International Emmy nominated, and BAFTA & Rose D’Or winning show will feature Greg Davies and Alex Horne alongside different celebrity guests as contestants in each town, with the other contestant places up for grabs for the audience who will have a chance to compete for eternal glory and bragging rights. With special stage tasks for the whole audience, carefully devised by the meticulous Little Alex Horne, the Taskmaster will judge the efforts of these brave souls with merciless precision to ultimately determine one as a Taskmaster Live On Stage Champion. Each show will feature audience tasks, a Q&A with Greg and Alex, exclusive behind the scenes footage, and an unruly evening of Taskmaster Live On Stage.
The news arrives as season 20 of Taskmaster enjoyed a ten week run on the official Taskmaster YouTube channel and on Channel 4 in the UK, featuring the five-piece super group of stellar comics: Ania Magliano, Maisie Adam, Phil Ellis, Reece Shearsmith and Sanjeev Bhaskar.
The popularity and success of the show on YouTube has seen it generate a loyal audience with the U.S. public and significant U.S. TV critics, including seeing the show’s stars Alex Horne and Greg Davies be invited to appear multiple times on late night chat shows, even though they had never been on American television before. Their first appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers became their second most streamed interview online (second only to his interview with Barack Obama), while a recent guest on the previous season, Jason Mantzoukas, was also invited to appear on Late Night with Seth Meyers to talk about Taskmaster.
The recent Season 19 of Taskmaster saw the show grow significantly in popularity with American audiences throughout 2025 with over 167 million views from North America so far this year, while there have been 220k new subscribers from North America in 2025 alone. The season-on-season growth has seen the previous season 19 recently deliver 23 million views and over 200 million impressions, which is a threefold increase building from the season before.
