The Inbetweeners Joe Thomas & James Buckley Reunite for Podcast

Inbetweeners stars Joe Thomas and James Buckley have announced their brand new podcast, Joe and James Fact Up, launching on Tuesday 23rd September. Produced by Audio Always, the team behind podcasts Help I Sexted My Boss, Elis James & John Robins and Sue Perkins presents Carrie Jade Does Not Exist.

The weekly podcast comes a decade after the duo shot to the comedy hall of fame for their roles in The Inbetweeners. Last year, Joe and James revealed a hilarious Oasis reunion sketch for Comic Relief, which sparked huge fan buzz. Now the pair are back for an all-new project that gives everyone a chance to hear their genuine friendship like never before as they share all about their life, petty gripes and love for completely random facts...

Each week on Joe and James Fact Up, they will each bring one fact that has captured their interest to unpack and debate it, then probably go off on a tangent about something completely unrelated. Expect to hear the weird things they think are true but never bothered to Google, like whether all crisps expire on a Saturday or if the lift's close button is just for show? Joe and James will finally get to the bottom of some of life’s most pointless but oddly satisfying mysteries, guided by their well-versed knack for finding hilarity in life's idiosyncrasies.

With a curiosity for all things wacky and comedic chemistry that made Jay and Simon two of the most iconic characters on British television, this new podcast is set to deliver laughs, stories and nonsense natter.

Joe Thomas says: "I've always loved the facts you can pull out anywhere that get people talking, so debunking them is going to be pretty fun, especially when I get to do it with one of my good mates. Things do get pretty weird from my end, so whoknows where this podcast journey will lead to."

James Buckley says: "I've always loved working with Joe, so I'm excited to just spend time with him speaking nonsense... It's basically what we do already, but with a mic attached. So let's see how well that turns out."
