LAUGHTERAMA, Manchester’s mega-hit comedy festival, returns to Castlefield Bowl from 3rd-7th September for five nights of incredible open-air comedy.

The all-star line-up includes Off Menu star and mega-multi talented ED GAMBLE, the inimitable FRANKIE BOYLE, delightfully acidic FERN BRADY, Netflix sensation PHIL WANG, Emmy nominee ROB DELANEY, Taskmaster treasures SAM CAMPBELL and BRIDGET CHRISTIE, BAFTA nominee LUCY BEAUMONT as well as nuclear-energy RUSSELL KANE among the headline name-drops for this year. 

Also appearing are ROSIE JONES, cult comic/poet TIM KEY, stand-up phenomenon SARAH KEYWORTH, Last One Laughing’s LOU SANDERS, King Gary star TOM DAVIS, Viceland’s JAMALI MADDIX, viral sensation JEN BRISTER as well as Manchester’s very own comedy heroes RACHEL FAIRBURN and STEPHEN BAILEY.

The festival also boasts breakthrough stars such as Edinburgh Fringe Award nominee JIN HAO LI, fast-rising talents SHARON WANJOHI and DANE BUCKLEY, razor sharp LARA RICOTE, and many more.

Each show presents a compilation of the absolute best stand-up, paired with all your favourite bevs at the bars plus the leading lights of Manchester’s street-food scene - making this five-night festival a highlight in the city calendar. 

Laughterama is produced by the sibling team behind a series of successful comedy festivals running annually across London and the South. Will Briggs and Cass Randolph of 57 Festivals have been delivering their signature blend of meticulous comedy programming in boutique-festival settings for the last fifteen years.
