Binned Off is the first short film from Miranda Holms. She says: "I wanted to challenge myself to tell a story with visuals instead of relying on dialogue. I'm a big fan of magical realism, and I enjoy using it to explore contemporary concerns. Dating apps have become the de facto way to meet people, and I wanted to play wit from h the disposable way people treat their matches and the fact that you never really know who you're meeting up with on a date - there's always a risk involved."
