
Marcus Brigstocke has confirmed a national autumn tour for his latest show, Je m’accuse – I am Marcus. The tour starts on September 16 in Cheltenham and finishes in Leeds on November 3.
Marcus explains - “Je m’accuse – I am Marcus. Podium dancer, oil rig worker, food addict, musical theatre enthusiast, posh, eco-hypocrite, ex-Goth, muppet fan, award winning comedian and chief beverages operator at the Little Chef – screw politics! Let’s talk about me.”
Brigstocke previously performed the show at Soho Theatre. In 1996 he won the BBC New Comedian Award at the Edinburgh Festival. He also also a familiar voice on BBCRadio 4 with regular appearances on The Now Show and Just A Minute, and has notched up an impressive list of TV credits including team captain on Argumental (Dave) and the host of BBC4’s The Late Edition and I’ve Never Seen Star Wars. He has also recently appeared in the West End and toured with the award-winning hit musical ‘Spamalot’ where he played the role of King Arthur to much critical acclaim. Earlier this year he took part in Channel 4’s Winter Games entertainment show, The Jump.
