News: Comedy, Pole Dancing, Drag Night Raises Money For Sex Workers Impacted By Covid

Dominatrix-turned-comedy star Desiree Burch headlines an online star-studded line-up raising funds for UK sex workers whose livelihoods have been decimated by COVID-19. Fern Brady, Joe Sutherland, Sikisa and Jacq The Stripper meet international pole stars Lauren Elise and Kitty Velour to present a stigma-busting night raising funds for organisations bringing direct relief to sex workers in crisis.

Ex-stripper comedian and host Sian Docksey organised the event after seeing the huge impact of the pandemic on the UK sex worker community. Supported by a grant from HIV-prevention and support charity Wandsworth Oasis, all proceeds and donations raised from the event will be split equally between SWARM, a sex-worker led mutual aid fund and advocacy group, and National Ugly Mugs, a charity working to end violence against sex workers.

Streaming live on December 17th, International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers.
