News: Superfan Gets Tattoo To Celebrate Podcast

Edinburgh comedy Award Best Show nominees, The Delightful Sausage (Channel 4, CBBC, Sky) have just released their first podcast special - Tiredness Kills: Live at the Icklewick Palladium! In this extended feature, listeners will finally discover what happened to Christopher-Louise Cantrill and Amy Gledhill when they put on their first ever live show at the Icklewick Palladium in the middle of a global pandemic.

The stellar cast includes Stuart Laws, Poppy Hillstead, Jake Yapp, Nicola Redman, Sunil Patel and Sammy Dobson, to name but a few. The duo are also incredibly excited to introduce their listeners to Niamh; the superfan who actually got a tattoo of her favourite piece of Sam O’Leary’s artwork from episode 3 (pictured). (editor's note - we are hoping this is true, we did receive a press release about it and if it turns out to be a prank Delightful Sausage will be in big, big trouble...)

When approached for comment Niamh said “I just really love Tiredness Kills. It’s the only sleep avoidance podcast to feature very northern accents, gross chat and a big baby called Anne. That said, you could definitely argue this is the manifestation of some unresolved lockdown trauma.”

Chris, Amy and their producer Jack Evans have been working on the special for the last few months . They’ve packed it full of heart stopping twists, gut wrenching turns and sound design which is so horridly realistic you’ll have to check that you’re not actually covered in sinew. As Amy Gledhill says “I think we’re thankful we’ve had it to work on even though it’s been a very intense process”. Chris added “we’re a bit shocked that we’ve been able to get such an amazing cast to help us out!”
