Comedy Producer Lucy Danser and Digital Producer Sideburn Panda are bringing back Comics’ Books - a sort of literary Desert Island Discs where all the guests are comedians or comedy writers - for a second season. The first run was launched in June 2020 garnering an enthusiastic and growing audience of literature lovers and featured in Apple’s Top Book Podcasts Chart.
The new season will feature a fresh line-up of comedy guests and a whole new selection of books being discussed! Host Lucy Danser (The Moth Radio Hour) will be joined this season by Tez Ilyas (C4’s ‘The Tez O’Clock Show’, Radio 4’s ‘Tez Talks’), Viv Groskop (BBC’s Front Row, Podcaster: How to Own the Room), Stuart Goldsmith (The Comedian’s Comedian Podcast), Angela Barnes (BBC Radio 4’s ‘The News Quiz’, ‘Mock the Week’, ‘Live at the Apollo’), Joseph Jacobs (BBC Radio 4’s ‘Hip Hop’s Laughing Stock’), Ola Labib and more to be announced!
