News: Comedy Season Announced For Worthing

Live comedy is set to return to Worthing with an incredible programme of socially distanced comedy shows in the Pavilion Theatre. 

BBC Radio 4 regular Shappi Khorsandi brings you an hour of sharp-tongued gags, cultural observation and whatever else is in her easily distracted mind in Skittish Warrior… Confessions of a Club Comic (Thu 29 Oct, 8pm). While Mark Watson talks shares hilarious insights into how his experience on  Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls changed him for the better, in How You Can Almost Win (Fri 23 Oct, 8pm) and multi-award winning comedian Russell Kane (Fri 20 Nov, 8:30pm) returns to Worthing with his latest show.

You could see the improv quartet The Noise Next Door, who are bringing their hilarious show In Charge (Sat 28 Nov, 7:30pm) to Worthing. Fresh from their latest success on Britain’s Got Talent, the quickest wits in comedy will astonish you with their ability to spin audience suggestions into comedy gold.

Worthing welcomes back Patrick Monahan (Thu 1 Oct, 8pm) who returns to Worthing with his latest showStarted From the Bottom, Now I'm Here, discussing his colourful life from working class Iranian, Irish, Immigrant roots to modern middle-class life living in Central London.

Robert White brings you his unique form of musical stand-up in the Tank Top Tour: Take Two - 'Troubles and Treats' (Tue 1 Dec, 8pm), complete with a brand new tank top.

Hannah Brackenbury presents, Victorious (Tue 10 Nov, 8pm), her joyful and poignant musical tribute to the late great Victoria Wood.Or start the next year off right next January with a hilarious double bill of Laura Lexx and Lauren Pattison next January (Fri 15 Jan, 8pm). Who following a whirlwind couple of years of awards, nominations, sell-out shows are both bringing amazing shows sure to make you laugh. 

If you are looking for something fun to do with the whole family then there’s the amazing Katie Pritchard, who you might remember as Cinderella’s fantastic fairy godmother in last year’s Panto, with her show Hysterical Histories (Sat 7 Nov, 2pm).
