Bridget Christie will be touring the UK this Autumn with this year’s Edinburgh show An Ungrateful Woman, as well as her 2013 Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Award-winning show, A Bic For Her.

After a decade on the circuit, Bridget Christie (from R4’s Bridget Christie Minds the Gap, Dilemma, Heresy, News Quiz, The Unbelievable Truth, BBC’s HIGNFY, It’s Kevin, C4’s Cardinal Burns, ITV1’s Celebrity Squares and and Comedy Central’s Alternative Comedy Experience) broke through in 2013.  Her show, A Bic for Her, won the Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award, the South Bank Sky Arts Award for Best Comedy, the Chortle Award for Best Show and became the top-selling comedy show ever at the Soho Theatre.

Her debut radio series, Bridget Christie Minds the Gap, won the Chortle Award for Best Radio and was nominated for Best Comedy at the Radio Academy Awards. It has also just been nominated for a Rose d’Or Award.

The press release announcing the tour says the following: "Why is Bridget having nightmares about Michael Gove and vaginas? Is Gisele, the Brazilian supermodel, not a woman at all, but in fact a mollusc that lives on a rock?  What’s the link between Warwick Davis from ITV1’s Celebrity Squares and FGM?  Why isn’t Bridget grateful that British sexism is better than Saudi Arabian sexism?  And why did Bridget refuse to 'swoon' at a man in a fridge holding a tray with a yoghurt on it for a Muller commercial? Come and find out!"

Bridget is currently writing her book A Book For Her (Random House) and series two of her BBC Radio 4 series Bridget Christie Minds The Gap will record this November.
