Comedian Stephen Bailey is to be the new host of game show Takeshi’s Castle when it returns to Comedy Central in June.

Two episodes of the series will be broadcast nightly from Monday to Friday starting at 11pm on June 8, with Bailey joined by celebrity guests.

In the cult Indonesian gameshow contestants attempt a series of challenges to ultimately try to storm the castle. The contestants take part in recognisable challenges including ‘Slippery Wall’, ‘Slip Way’ and ‘Rice Bowl’ and many more.

The guest line-up is as follows: 

Monday 8th June 11pm:

STEPHEN BAILEY is joined by presenting legend CHRIS KAMARA, Chris is used to commentating on top athletes during matches, and TAKESHI’S CASTLE certainly requires some skill!

JOEY ESSEX guest judges and provides new slang!

Tuesday 9th June 11pm:
