Musical comedy band The Horne Section is to join The Last Leg as resident band during this current run.

They will be appearing live from home for the next three weeks, alongside the regular presenters Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker.

Though this may be more of a challenge for the band than the hosts as there are so many members.

The band tweeted: "Yes! We are gonna be appearing every week on @TheLastLeg as the house band and spread some lockdown silliness. https://thehornesection.com."

The band's leader Alex Horne, however, is used to challenges as the co-presenter of hit show Taskmaster, which is due to move from Dave to Channel 4.

Horne has also been setting Taskmaster fans their own tasks during lockdown.

The Last Leg is on Fridays on Channel 4 at 10pm.
