Danny Baker has confirmed the launch date for his new podcast, The Treehouse: Somethin' Else, described as "a twice weekly helping to tip the internet on its ear".

It will launch on November 27. There is already a trailer available which is currently number nine in the overall iTunes chart, (sausage) sandwiched between No Such Thing As A Fish and Dolly Parton. 

The veteran broadcaster will be joined for the podcast once again by Louise Pepper, who responded to the news of its chart placing by tweeting: "I've never been in the top 10 of anything since the spelling tests at school."

Baker has strongly hinted that the show will be pretty similar to the Saturday morning Radio 5 show that he presented until earlier this year. He tweeted: “featuring all the old firm and even the Sausage Sandwich Game.”

He added on Twitter: "The familiar high kicking, lowbrow burlesque."

Once again he will be asking fans to chip in to various trademark offbeat topics such as: "Who Your Mum Would Have Left Your Dad For! Breaking Stuff In Shops! Hiding As An Adult!" Though he added: "These subjects not live yet. May never be. But y'know." As the show will be pre-recorded and downloadable listeners will be invited to chip in via social media and/or email. Baker also wrote: "On the new podcast show it will be in our gift to give various callers/contacts honorary titles. For instance, if your email is of Great Historical Interest you will be given the hyphenated name of "Sebag". As in Simon Sebag Montefiore. One of the leading Sebags."
